Active HUB-1 Site for Clients in 2025

The NRG “Energy” HUBS are in various stages of development across Alberta and Saskatchewan, and soon Manitoba,  with a total of four (4+1) hubs. These hubs are dedicated, is-landed power generation and technology systems designed  as a business park to ensure the reliability and resiliency of the power grid with and across all the provinces. 

Each Hub provides dedicated utility power delivered 1:1 for high-tech clients, supported by firmed, dispatch-able renewables and all related intellectual property. 

Branded as NRG HUB, each Hub represent our commitment to innovative and reliable energy solutions  and include solar, wind and hydrogen, with a future roll-out of Nuclear for 2032 eta - fully carbon abated.

We invite interested parties (technology companies, vendors, hyper scalers, partners, etc., )  to disclose interest and go through a diligence process for specifications, design & engineering, supply planning, and capitalization planning.  

We have legal teams in New York & Calgary, with global offices. 

Located east of Calgary on major Highways, and access within 40 minutes from Calgary international airport (YYC) this is the primary site for HubOne - operating as NRG Hub-1 this site will be ready with up to 600 MW of dispatch-able power by 2026, and an additional 1000 MW by 2027.  

This site currently is undergoing development of dedicated core IP fiber ring and represents over 3800+ Acres of land, for:

- Modular Ultra Blackwell AI Clusters 

- Ultra AI Cluster Hyper Mod

- Campus REIT Hyper Scale AI

- Ultra HDI High Density Immersion Mining

HUB-1 site will delivery over 3000 MW of power at this site, by 2028, but has the capacity to scale up to  7000 MW, within the campus based on demand as baseload gas, utility scale dispatch-able renewable power is imported from our remote generation sites.

This is our engagement process high-level please give us a little insight on your needs so we can best respond to your inquiry.  

1. Opportunity Review - What are your needs, size, timing, power, technology assets, capitalization requirements, etc.,  via email and lets meet for an  introductory Meeting to review.
2. MNDA - if all parties agree to move to detailed analysis and review. 
3. Letter of Intent (LOI) 
4. Term Sheet / Project Quoted 
5. Structure: MSP or Joint Venture
6. PPA Agreement:  10/20/30 Year
7. Capital: Requirements & Review (based on MSP/JV)
8. Review of all Services & Agreements Prepared 
9. Finalize: Close to Completion
